The same was the case last year, and just like last year, April is turning out to be one of the best months for sailfishing. Eventually the fish will push through the area and right now they are coming through in some pretty big packs. In three trips last week we caught 30 sailfish.

Luckily a much-needed cold front came by on Friday and that coupled with blue water and strong north current resulted in a pretty good bite. The past couple of days we went 6 for 8 one day followed by 8 for 8 the next day.

We are now well into the fall and the species we are targeting are swordfish, sailfish and wahoo. Luckily all three of these species have cooperated.
