I had the pleasure of fishing Chris and Ericka this morning. They are from Texas and run a great inshore fishing charter service in Galveston, TX https://justcastcharters.com/ These were great people and great fisherman/woman to boot! Well, long story short Chris wanted snook as they don't catch snook in TX. Within the first hour that was checked off the list but not before Ericka had outfished him on other species. With my eye on the tide it was time to move and target tarpon. I set up and not long after Chris had a nice permit in the boat and followed that up with a 120lb tarpon. WOW! We wrapped it up fishing for bonefish as I was desperate for them to get a super grand slam but we only had a few shots that didn't materialise. Man what a day but I still wanted that bonefish!
