We started Saturday morning working the outer bars in search of Kingfish chasing bait, however the Kings did not want to take the baits. With the Kings in lockjaw I started an easterly course towards deeper water. Hitting the 130' mark we had our first clip snap off and the sound of a screaming reel made everyone aboard come to life. With my mate Robert setting the hook the Dolphin went airborne and we saw that it was a monster cow of about 30 pounds. We got the fish to the boat and in the kill box and as soon as that happened we had another clip from the flatline go off, this time being a smaller bailer Dolphin. This action continued for over 2 hours putting 31 Dolphin in the box. In this time we also had 2 Sails hooked up and released and lost 1 monster Bull that absolutely straightened out a snap swivel.
