Steve has fished with me a few times this year and his son Tyler joined him today.  After bending the rod a bit on snappers and the like we hit the flats when the tide was right.  Tyler hadn't caught a bonefish before so I was eager to get him one.  Well, just like his dad that seems to attract fish, Tyler got his first bonefish and then upgraded with a bigger one before the trip was over.  First try!  The water temps are still warmer than usual with this mild winter we've had so far but that isn't bad news as the stable weather has allowed the bonefishing to remain solid and consistent.
