[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, caught and released trout, reds, snook, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, tripletail and barramundi during the past couple of weeks. That's right, barramundi! We also jumped the first tarpon of the season with flies and a live crab. The best action continued to be on deep grass flats of Terra Ceia Bay, Sarasota Bay and Gasparilla Sound.

[Milwaukee] We have been fishing the temp breaks in front of the river mouth and harbor gaps marking fish at all depths. Lots of bait fish around. The south gap was very good due to the northwest wind pushing the warm harbor out the gap.

[Apalachicola] Aprils cool beginning should have us fishing a longer spring season for inshore species of fish. Expect our Apalachicola area waters to slowly warm. As May temperatures start to heat up the bays and estuarial area waters expect the fishing in general to be good, some days excellent with the right conditions.

[Clearwater] As any one knows who has fished in the last three days. 10-20 mile per hour winds is an epic under statement. although the fishing has been prety good for trout and reds, around caladesia and honeymoon. it has been a night mare to get any ware. The kings and mackeral are in great hourds out on the ten to thirteen mile reefs.

[Pine Island Sound] First up on Monday were Jeff Falk, his wife Pat, and daughter Courtney, down from Englewood, Florida. I liked them as soon as I met them and knew we were going to have a great time regardless of how the fishing went. We were laughing and cutting up before they even stepped foot on the Talon.
