[Shell Beach] We did a lot of drifting fishing with Bayou Chubs under a cork. The Trout were nice sized, but hard to come by. The water may have been a little dirty for the Trout, but the Reds and Drum did not mind it.

[Mosquito Lagoon] Great action for trophy size 20-40lb redfish in Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River, as well as trophy size spotted sea trout upwards of 10lbs. Also sightcasting pods of tailing redfish and black drum on the shallow flats. Spring baitrun is underway!

[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, had good action with trout on deep grass flats of Sarasota Bay. In addition, we also caught Spanish mackerel and pompano on deep grass flats, a few reds is skinny water and snook at night. The most consistent action continues to be on deep grass flats of Sarasota Bay.

[Pulaski] The water on the salmon river continues to go up. Snow melt on the Tug hill is making it's way into the river system and I would look for very high water conditions over the next few weeks. Keep praying for cold nights or she will go big real fast.

[Sabine Lake] The fishing has been great when you can find the birds working. The trout underneath them are all soild fish. I have been taking most of my fish on Brown Lures in the SeaDevil Glow/Chart with a 3/8 jig head.

[Bonita Beach] Nice-sixed mangrove snapper, mixed with some mackerel, sheepshead and porgies, made for good fishing offshore. Sheepshead predominated in the backwaters, with pompano and trout mixed in.

[Port Canaveral] Bright sunny days, and warm temperatures have helped redfish and black drum return to the flats. In the Indian River, north of Titusville, live shrimp have worked well when sight casting to smaller schools of reds.
