[Shell Beach] We hopped around to different areas using different techniques, but could not get them going. By this time the wind had laid down nicely so we made a run out to Black Bay. I was surprised to see decent looking water. Finally the corks started to go down and up to the surface would come a big mad Trout.

[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, had good action recently fishing deep grass flats in Sarasota Bay and the coastal gulf waters off Siesta Key. Spin and fly anglers caught and released trout, bluefish, jacks, little tunny and Spanish mackerel. Our fall fishing seems to be getting off to an early start.

[Tampa] The fishing over the past few weeks has done a lot of changing but this does fit the time of the year. when I say changing for the most part it been awesome. Lots more fish have shown up this past week and I know there is more to come.

[Shell Beach] We headed to a Redfish spot I like in Oak River where we l started to put some fish in the boat. It was not a fast bite, but was steady enough. The guys put a few Reds in the box and some nice Trout too fishing with Campo's live shrimp under a cork.

[Sarasota] Fishing both in-shore and near-shore is productive right now so get out there and get fishing. Snook, redfish, trout, and mangrove snapper are the species to target inshore. Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, little tunny, and sharks are the species to target near-shore.

[Milwaukee] The last four days two and three year-old Chinooks have been active with action in 150 to 200 feet. This has been an all spoon bite. Work from 25 to 60 down on Magnum Fish N Chip and Fish Fry spoons.

[Mosquito Lagoon] Fall has definitely arrived here on the inshore waters of Central Florida's Space Coast. There's never a slow month for fishing here in Florida, it just changes with the seasons. Redfish, snook, and speckled trout will be the staples of charters during the next two months, with the occasional opportunity for some late season tarpon.

[Shell Beach] We headed over to a bayou behind Hopedale where the tide was falling nicely. The Trout were eating up the Campo's live shrimp on a Carolina rig. The Trout were nice sized and there were Drum and a few Reds mixed in. We were close to our limits of Trout as the action slowed a little so we went a looked for some Reds.

[Shell Beach] We started off fishing is a bayou behind Hopedale with live shrimp on a Carolina rig and the Trout ate it up. The Trout were good sized and there were some White Trout mixed in along with some Drum and Heads. The trick was to keep the bait moving.

[Homosassa] With temperatures finally beginning to cool here along the Nature Coast fall has appeared to start gaining the upper hand from the summer heat. Early last week I was fishing in water that hovered around 84 degrees. After a few cold fronts passed over our area our water temperatures are now hovering in the mid to upper 70's. When air and water temps start their downward trends the entire Gulf of Mexico comes to life.

[Jensen Beach] With winds laying down this week Smokin Em Too fished the Inshore water of the Indian River and found the fish more than ready to bite. Even though water clarity is not 100% we found Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Jacks and Mangrove Snapper all willing to take our baits.
