The winter fishing patterns are still proving to be right on schedule. The amount of wahoo in our area has just been incredible. They are eating just about anything you throw out. Amberjack are plentiful as well as we are catching plenty of them as well

After a very active tropical season we are finally back in full swing. Although we had very little damage the weather did halt any fishing activity out of Venice for just about the entire month of September. Fortunately to say things are normal and we are back to fishing as usual.

The tuna fishing is about as steady as it gets. The weather has not been the greatest for August but we have been able to fish thru it. Overall the tuna bite is about as good as it gets.

Green Canyon produced all the 70 to 100 lb Yellowfin you wanted to catch. The Blackfin were on, on every drop. The Wahoo and Bull Dolphin were in the baits all day on the troll.

Friday we fished for yellowfin tuna, amber jack and snapper. Got lucky and boated a wahoo. Saturday, we fished overnight and brought back a boat load of fish!
