[Gloucester,MA] Bass in the harbor chasing the bait. Lots of fun catching schoolies. The harbor around the docks has been a blast with lots of action for samll bass,Just look for the working gulls and the bunches of bait and just start casting.I catch a dozen or more in just a hour and had lots of fun.Well just about time to haul my boat and head for Florida for the winter.

[Cape Cod,MA] Good fishing on top of Billingsgate Shoals but most of the fish have moved out. The main body of fish were in the deep water on the north edge in Cape Cod Bay.
Cape Cod Fishing Season Almost Over by Hap Farrell (9/27/2006)
[Cape Cod,MA] The season is almost over. Most of the boats will come out just after the Columbus Day weekend. There will still be fish in the bay, just not many people looking to go and try and catch them. So, even the fish will no it's time to head to warmer water. For now they are here and we're doing a good job of finding them and catching them.

[Cape Cod,MA] The Rock Harbor Fleet Still has a lock on the shoals but since we all work together both fleets do very well there. For the most part the shoals is producing the most activity for both bass and bluefish.

[Cape Cod,MA] Well, it is official. The summer season on Cape Cod has come to an end and with somewhat of a whimper or rain or whatever. There is no more traffic to deal with, no more waiting at the gas pumps, the beaches aren't crowded, and the restaurants aren't too packed.

[Cape Cod,MA] Tuna fishing continues to be hot with Giant Bluefins 600 lbs. to over 1,000 lbs. caught here every day. While most of these fish have been taken on live bluefish some have also been trolled on squid bars.Lots of School Tuna continue to please charter patrons.
