[Miramichi River,NB] Just when you thought they wouldn't take we had a 37 incher take. Another good day of fishing but not so good of weather for the Miramichi. But the fish still wanted what we threw at them. The weather was windy and very cold with ice pellets coming down.

Main SW Miramichi River Fishing Report and tributaries (4/10/2007)
[Miramichi River,NB] With fishing season soon aproaching on April 15th/2007 and the colder weather that we are having is keeping the river ice solid for the start of the season. There are a few places that you can wet a line in the smaller rivers like the Cains and Bartholomew river. The South West Miramichi has a few spots open but only a few! The North West Miramichi is still frozen solid with very heavy looking ice.We need some warmer weather or rain to raise the river to get the ice moving.
