[Lake Ontario] The lake season is winding down for me as I switch gears and put on waders for the next 8 months. The lake fishing will continue right into October, but I had some early river reservations this year so I only have a week left on the big pond.

[Southwest Montana] I traveled to Crane Meadow Lodge in Twin Bridges, MT on Weds, 8/27 to host a group of friends and clients on our annual trip to the lodge. Nick Reding, Jim Ewoldt and Howard Curtis, all from St. Louis, MO, Dennis Kinley, from NJ and Mike Perez, from Richmond, IN and I all met up in Bozeman on Weds afternoon and made the 1 ½ hour drive to the lodge.

[Cocoa Beach] Large trout have been caught in the Banana River in areas along the S.R. 520 when using Storm's 3/8 ounce Rattlin' Saltwater Chug Bug (color 207). The average weight of these trout has been nearly three pounds with an occasional larger fish.

[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, caught and released snook, trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel and jumped a tarpon on several trips recently. The best action continues to be with trout on deep grass flats. We are also catching ladyfish and the occasional bluefish or Spanish mackerel on deep grass flats of Sarasota Bay.
[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, caught and released snook, trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel and jumped a tarpon on several trips recently. The best action continues to be with trout on deep grass flats. We are also catching ladyfish and the occasional bluefish or Spanish mackerel on deep grass flats of Sarasota Bay.
