[Jensen Beach] Even with the high winds that have been blowing the last week or so, we have still been finding large concentrations of Trout and Redfish. Snook have been cruising the flats looking for a quick meal as well.

[Shell Beach] We headed down the foggy MRGO out into the Sound. We headed to a rig that I fished the day before and the Sheepshead and I mean big ones were eating up on dead shrimp on a jig head.

[Tampa] The great tam bay water temp are getting to where they should be for this time of the year. Most of the bays and different areas are 70 and above witch this means the fish are going to start going crazy!

[Lower Luguna Madre] We hosted a bachelor party for 1ST. LT. Stephen just returned from serving our Country in Iraq. Thanks Lt. He and all his buddies, who by the way were Aggie's, let it be known despite them being Aggie's they CAN FISH. Now to say his deployment took away from his fish catching ability would be lying. Ten minutes into our first wade of the day he set the bar for his buddies, Father and Father-in-law by catching a 29 inch and 7 ¼# Big Girl.

[Sarasota] Anglers fishing with me on the Snook Fin-Addict, out of CB's Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key, had good action during the past 10 days. Anglers using spinning tackle scored with snook, reds, pompano, Spanish mackerel and bluefish. Fly anglers caught and released trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, pompano and reds. The best action was with snook on the flats of Terra Ceia and Sarasota Bays.

[Miramichi River] March 21, 2008 River Report for G.R.Colford & Sons Limited on the Main South West Miramichi River. Most of us are getting very anxious to see the ice start breaking up. But for the moment on the Miramichi we are hit with yet another late winter storm. With already about 5 feet in most places here on the Miramichi, we are waiting for the first signs of spring with some warm weather or rain to start and get our rivers rising and get the ice moving.

[Lower Luguna Madre] We continue to catch 25 inch plus trout, but with Spring Break on us look for the traffic to move the larger trout from the shorelines and out a little deeper. Returning last Wed. I was able to get in 4 days on the water before the WIND FANS started!!!!!
