[Millwood Lake] Best feeding periods still remain early and late in the day, but are generally improving during the slower periods. Juvenile and yearling Black Bass continue randomly schooling, and are chasing shad and baitfish in Little River along the edges of lily pads, and in the oxbows all along Little River. Take a kid fishing!

[Lake Allatoona] The senko bite is getting stronger and stronger every week. Most of the fish are small keepers with a few decent fish in the mix. I'm pretty much beating them in the head with the senko to make it work. It's really the best thing I have found for numbers unless you like draggin wurms (not my cup of tea no thanks).

As the water starts to cool into the low 80's the fish are starting to bunch up and school in areas along with or very close to the bait fish in the 30 – 45 range.

This week however, we have had three consecutive days of NE winds at 25 knots causing 7ft waves and most of us have stayed at the dock since Monday of this week. The winds should die down by Sunday and Monday looks like a great fishing day. You may find the waters a bit stirred up after all this wind and wave action.
