[Mendota Lake] Fish are in the gaps and out to 50 feet of water The gaps are on most days. Good numbers on all size and age of fish. Overcast days are best and sunny day are slower.

[Sabine Lake] Trout fishing has been hit or miss due to the wind and rain. Trout have been good in the ship channel on live bait fishing the drop offs. The problem with this is when a ship comes the water takes a couple of hours to settle out. The channel on the south end of the lake has been good for Trout and Flounder with some reds mixed in.
