[Sabine Lake] The fishing has been great when you can find the birds working. The trout underneath them are all soild fish. I have been taking most of my fish on Brown Lures in the SeaDevil Glow/Chart with a 3/8 jig head.

[Lake Fork] After an extended warming trend in early March brought in a big wave of spawners, a strong cold front with heavy rains muddied up and cooled Lake Fork, slowing the bite considerably last week. The water has steadily warmed again this week and that is drawing a number of fish into the shallows to start spawning again.

[Lake Kabetogama] Anglers this past weekend were mostly concentrating on crappies, results are mixed. Some folks tried Kabetogama, while others preferred to try Namakan and Sandpoint where you can still keep walleyes and pike as well as fish crappies.

[Lake Fork] Man has the weather changed. Monday and Tuesday you could have wore shorts all day long with highs in the low 80s. Those days are now gone with the high today of 42 and the next few days the highs are not supposed to be out of the 40s.
