    [Lake Fork] Lake Fork is rebounding nicely after a major cold front dropped our water temps by 10 to 15 degrees. Although our numbers slowed this week, big fish are still being caught and another wave of spawning fish seem to be pulling up shallow with the recent warming trend.

    [Lake LBJ] Water is clearing - fishing/catching improving. Largemouth are fair to good in 3'-8' along docks,seawalls and water willows on breaklines of flats using 1/4 oz. crawfish (No. 46) Rat-L-Traps, Curb's erratic jigs (swimmin' jig) and 5" watermelon-red Whacky Sticks.

    [Lake Allatoona] Crappie are everywhere in the creeks down lake. Fish in any of the shallows in the backs of the creeks. Troll or drift the backs of creeks and use minnows and bright Hal Flies. Bridges are holding pre spawn fish and at depths of less than 5 feet. Work tree lines, standing timber or brush and stump rows

    [Lake Fork] Lake Fork fishing tactics and more on what type areas to fish. The Bandit 100 crankbait bite was the most consistent bait I had last week and fishing them literally up near the shore-line. As of yesterday (Wednesday) that bite stopped and the soft-plastic bite came back. My numbers are low (10 to 13 per day) but my size is up.

    [Caddo Lake] Bass fishing reports by Caddo Lake Guide Service. Junebug, watermelon, and redbug colored lizards and senko type baits are working on the cypress also. The vegetation like pads and hydrilla are beginning to top out on the lake so get your flukes, frogs, and buzzbaits ready because once the water warms the topwater bite should be hot for the next couple of months.

    [Lake Allatoona] There are fish schooling all over the lake right now.. The top water bite is the best I have seen in years. Stripes, Hybrids and spots are busting all over the lake right now. The south end of the lake is the place to be for numbers. But if you want a big fish you would be better off fishing mid-lake to the northend. Numbers can also be found mid-lake as well.

    [Lake Fork] Heading into April, the spawn is in full swing at Fork. Prespawn and postspawn bass are still available all over the lake as well. As evidence, we had an 8 lb'er that was clearly prespawn and full of eggs at the back end of a creek way, way up north this week, while we also saw some bass fry on main lake flats on the south end. As usual, I expect the spawn to continue into early May.
