Lake Allatoona Top Water Bite by Robert Eidson (2007-05-31 12:04:07)
[Lake Allatoona] The stripers and Hybrid are scatter all over the lake right now. I have caught fish this week as far south as Tanyard Creek and as far north as Kellogg Creek. The best bite for me this week as been on down lines right off main lake points. Last week we really started to see these fish bunching up on the main lake points. If you can find the right point you can load the boat.

Hammer Time by Trent Barnes (2007-05-29 23:50:40)
[Lake Lewisville] Fish are slaming Jigs and Slab combos and it is quite a battle to get two fish to the boat. Really works the drag! The area around drop offs and Humps are producing good fish!

    Lake Fork Report & 10 lb'er Pics by Tom Redington (2007-05-28 10:26:10)
[Lake Fork] Fishing hasn't changed much this past week, with a few really good days and a few really slow days. When the deep bite has been on, we've caught a lot of 6 to 10 pound bass. Other days, the fish just seemed to disappear out deep.
Kabetogama/Namakan Fishing Report by Phil Hart (2007-05-27 21:13:46)
[Lake Kabetogama] Most anglers this past week enjoyed catching a variety of fish. Aggressive pike, pre-spawn bass and roaming walleyes are surprising some anglers with their whereabouts.
Lake Ray Roberts Largemouth Fishing by Tim Wike (2007-05-27 14:10:26)

Summer on Lake Eufaula by Reed Montgomery (2007-05-26 12:48:32)
[Lake Eufaula] Early summer drought had the lake down 2 feet. This eliminated lots of shallow water for anglers to decipher with Lake Eufaula naturally being a shallow lake with expanded flats. It also eliminated a lot of fishable water as well. Anglers expecting to fish there favorite weedbeds in that 1- 3 feet of water had to look elsewhere as summer began. Some places normally shallow at full pool were even hard to get the boat in.
Still taking limits by Bob Hesse (2007-05-26 10:13:57)

Lake Allatoona Fishng Is Great Right Now.... by Robert Eidson (2007-05-25 12:35:49)
[Lake Allatoona] Line sides fishing is good and the mid lake is producing the best right now by far. But there is starting to be good afternoon bite at the dam on live bait and umbrella rigs. Down lines and free lines working better then any thing else on the lake right now But there is a lot of schooling fish in the morning and popping corks with Jr. flukes are by far the best top water bait there is for these fish.
Trophy Stripers On Lake Cumberland by Jim Durham (2007-05-24 22:06:15)
[Lake Cumberland] In some years, the bite during the spawn of the Stripers can be really slow. I do not know what then “phenomenon” is this year, but we have been catching absolutely “huge” trophy Stripers in the spawn of 2007. Perhaps it is the fact that with the work on the dam and the water level still near Winter pool all the way into May, the “bite” is hotter this year during the spawn than normal.

Lake Fork Report & Pics by Tom Redington (2007-05-20 10:26:22)
[Lake Fork] Fishing has been inconsistent at Lake Fork this past week. When the deep bite has been on, fishing is good and we're catching mostly postspawn females in the 4 to 9 lb range. Other days, we're only finding a few small schools out deep and I've had to resort to shallow water fishing, where the bite has been sporadic at best.

Down lines and free lines working better then any thing else on the lake right now But there is a lot of schooling fish in the morning and popping corks with Jr. flukes are by far the best top water bait there is for these fish.
Still too early. by Carlyle Telford (2007-05-14 15:51:46)
[Lake Lucille] Fishing was tough because the vegetation from last year is decaying and floating. When you retrieve every cast the fly comes back with crud on it. In spite of this I caught a fish about 18 inches long on a leach.
